eDisty’s Verified Supplier Program March 25, 2010

eDisty is taking another big step forward in insuring the quality of its seller base by introducing a new Verified Program. The Verified Program is a certification process in which suppliers on eDisty must complete a series of requirements. The Verified Certification allows our community to easily identify true stocking suppliers by displaying a tag next to their name when a search result is populated. This tag is a tag like none other; it is not a "paid" tag, rather an "earned" tag.  The program enables our community to view company profiles in a whole new way displaying photos, maps, and company information such as year established, number of employees, and square footage of their warehouse. The Verified Suppliers will benefit from this program by increasing their visibility and preferred placement. Participation is not obligatory, given the status of our industry, if you are not part of the solution; you are part of the problem. The requirements and qualifications for this Verified Program are as follows:

• Minimum 1 year member of eDisty Networks.
• Print out, read, fill-in, and sign the Verified Supplier document.  Only the President, CEO or decision maker can sign this document. Fax the document back (514 380 3496), and upon receiving it will be published on your company profile for all to see as an attachment.
• You must submit a minimum of 3 digital photos of either your company building and/or warehouse.
• The company address you entered on your company profile will be linked to Google Maps.
• You must have an inventory upload frequency of at least 3 days.
• You must submit a minimum of 3 trade references or 3 positive ratings viewable on eDisty.
• You must be available for random spot checks for part numbers that you advertise as in stock.  An eDisty rep will contact you with a part number you have in stock and you must respond back within a reasonable amount of time with a picture of the part.
• Upon completion of the above requirements, the supplier will be given a Verified Supplier tag.
• Verified Suppliers will have preferred relevancy in the search results.
• All Verified Suppliers are subject to suspension of the tag for violation of either falsifying the above requirements, negative ratings, failing to fulfill random spot checks.

eDisty continues to strive to present the best data possible, and allow you to conduct business in a safe environment.  The Verified Program is meant to display the "crème of the crème" and enforce what we set out do at the start of the year and that is to create an exclusive platform.
